How did you and your partner meet?

On Married at First Sight… We both work in TV Production and met whilst working on a series of Married at First Sight. We got together shortly after filming wrapped, and have worked together ever since.

How did you or partner propose?

Staycation at a beautiful hotel in Sydney CBD, somewhere we drive past every day. After a lovely dinner we went to our hotel room where there were rose petals all over the room, a bottle of Champagne and most importantly a ring waiting.

What was your favourite part of your ceremony?

Jennie: Walking down the aisle to see Aaron looking so handsome, surrounded by all the people we love and with the stunning floral backdrop by Pia & Jade. There had been huge storms the night before the wedding, but by the time the ceremony happened it was glorious blue skies and 27 degrees.

Aaron: Seeing Jennie walking down the steps of the house looking absolutely stunning.

What did you love about your reception?

The dance floor had to be the highlight, from the first dance to everyone joining us singing simply the best at the top of our lungs. Emily and the band did an incredible job of keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. We also loved being able to wind down with our wedding party and family on the veranda after all the other guests had left. It was super special to be able to enjoy the venue into the early hours and just letting the day sink in.

What is your advice for any future couples planning their wedding?

Highly recommend a live band (Emily Hanks is incredible) and adding a sax player to the mix. Definitely brought the good vibes.
