Natalie & James
How did you and your partner meet?
At university- then re-met at the same workplace 7 years later
How did you or partner propose?
James proposed at the top of the Barrenjoey lighthouse walk in Palm Beach
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Terrara House?
We loved the beautiful gardens and the freedom the marquee gave us to decorate the reception however we liked. We also loved being able to enjoy the estate over the whole weekend!
Did you have a theme for your wedding?
Bridgerton vibes with beautiful pastel colours
What was your menu on the night?
We had short ribs, pork belly, duck fat potatoes and amazing carrots and chimchurri! Everyone was obsessed with the food
What was your favourite part of your ceremony?
When we kissed to make it official!
What did you love about your reception?
I was obsessed with the whole thing- it was an amazing blur! A highlight was our first dance and my father-daughter dance, as well as the beautiful speeches!
How many people attended your wedding?
114
What was your favourite location in Terrara House & The Estate and why?
The love garden will always be so special to us as it was where we got married. It was an absolutely perfect ceremony space!
Did you plan a post wedding ‘honeymoon’ celebration and if so, what experience did you plan?
We went on a minimoon to Bannisters at mollymook- we will be going to Europe for our proper honeymoon in August!
What is your advice for any future couples planning their wedding?
Let go of the little things but be as organised as possible- this helps the lead up be as stress free as possible! Also don’t be afraid to use colour on your day- I loved the use of colour on ours!
