Jess & Bryce
How did you and your partner meet?
We met in high school, but started talking in Biology class in year 11.
How did you or partner propose?
Bryce proposed to me in a sunflower field in Byron Bay.
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Terrara House?
The moment we went down the driveway and saw Terrara House we knew it was the place. It is an incredible venue. We loved their ethos and their attention to detail is evident. We also liked the versatility that the venue offered. We had dinner with our close friends the night before the wedding in the conservatory, and brunch the day after the wedding near the chess garden. There are so many areas in the house for guests to hang out or have a quiet moment. Having everything in the same place meant that we got to extend our wedding celebrations and ensured the events of the day flowed smoothly.
Did you have a theme for your wedding?
Clean and crisp white florals mixed with greenery.
What was your menu on the night?
Lamb shoulder, spiced chicken, pumpkin, potatoes and cauliflower.
What was your favourite part of your ceremony?
Seeing Bryce!
What did you love about your reception?
Non-stop dancing!
How many people attended your wedding?
48 guests
What was your favourite location in Terrara House & The Estate and why?
We loved the conservatory as itself is beautiful and full of light. We had our pre-wedding dinner there and also lunch the day of the wedding.
Did you plan a post wedding ‘honeymoon’ celebration and if so, what experience did you plan?
We had our honeymoon in Adelaide and Hobart.
What is your advice for any future couples planning their wedding?
Maintain open communication with your partner and use your support network to make sure the day is seamless. Most importantly, have fun!
